A major milestone performance from Japanese hard rock legends Earthshaker is captured on this release: the “Live In Budohkan” CD. Issued on April 21, 1986, via the Nexus label (King Records) with the catalog number K32Y 2025, this album immortalizes their triumphant concert at the iconic Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo.
Recorded live on January 17, 1986, this CD captures the band at the height of their powers, performing at one of Japan’s most revered venues. The 11-track album showcases their electrifying stage presence and musical prowess, drawing heavily from their highly successful early albums.
It’s packed with powerful live renditions of fan favorites and signature anthems, including “More,” “Kioku No Naka,” “Midnight Flight,” “T.O.K.Y.O,” and the massive hit “Radio Magic.” The lineup features the classic core band augmented by keyboardist Toshio Egawa for the live setting.
K32Y 2025 is more than just a live album; it’s a testament to Earthshaker’s status as giants of the 80s J-Metal scene, preserving the energy and atmosphere of their milestone Budokan performance.
