A key solo album from X Japan’s legendary frontman, Toshi, is the focus for this entry. We are looking at “Mission,” released on June 1, 1994. This CD was issued by BMG / Ariola with the catalog number BVCR-657. This particular copy comes in its special box set packaging, complete with the original obi strip.
Produced by Toshi himself, “Mission” finds the celebrated vocalist further exploring his own musical identity within the rock and J-pop world, a sound distinct from the heavy metal of his main band.
