Today we revisit the early, fiery career of Japan’s reigning queen of hard rock, Mari Hamada. This entry focuses on her second studio album, “Romantic Night,” released with the catalog number VIH-28153, promo/sample pressing.
Issued on December 16, 1983, by Invitation (Victor), this 12-inch vinyl LP arrived remarkably quickly – less than eight months after her powerful debut, “Lunatic Doll.” This rapid succession showcased Hamada’s creative drive and quickly solidified her position as a major force in the burgeoning Japanese heavy metal scene.
