Let’s focus on the second album from the legendary Japanese heavy metal band Bronx, “Illusion Of Mr. Morphine” (ミスター・モーフィンの幻想). Released on February 25, 1986, via the Polydor label, this 12-inch vinyl LP (catalog number 28MX 1233) captures the band, led by “Jet Finger” guitarist Atsushi Yokozeki, evolving their sound. This particular copy includes the original obi strip.
Co-produced by Yokozeki and Keisuke Tsukimitsu, this sophomore effort is often considered by fans to be a significant step up in songwriting and sophistication compared to their debut.
