A Nordic Treasure: Europe’s ‘Best Of Europe’ Limited Edition (VICP-98)
Today’s entry spotlights a special, limited-edition compilation from the Swedish melodic rock icons, Europe. We are looking at the Japan-exclusive release “Best Of Europe,” issued on December 16, 1990, via the Victor label with the catalog number VICP-98.
Released just prior to their Prisoners in Paradise era, this compilation perfectly encapsulates the band’s ascent from traditional heavy metal to global AOR superstardom. It features a generous 18-track listing that comprehensively covers the highlights from their first four albums.
The tracklist is a balanced mix of their different eras.
