Thrash Resurrected: Slaughter House’s Self-Titled Reissue (NLTM-V0041)
Today’s entry highlights a blistering release for thrash metal collectors. We are looking at the 2024 reissue of the self-titled album by Slaughter House, released on No Life ’til Metal Records with the catalog number NLTM-V0041.
This release gives the album a premium treatment. It is a 12-inch vinyl LP pressed on striking “Red/Black Splatter” wax, making it visually distinct. Furthermore, this pressing is strictly limited to just 300 copies, ensuring its status as a sought-after item for genre enthusiasts.
Musically, the album delivers a potent dose of thrash metal energy. Tracks like the opener “F.T.W.,” “Let The Neighbors Hear,” and “Kick ‘Em When They’re Down” showcase the band’s aggressive style. The lineup features Steve Srozinski on lead vocals, flanked by the guitar duo of Danny Greco and Mark Cahill, with Brian Mangini on bass and shared drumming duties between Brian Fraipoint and James Vacca.
This reissue has been remastered, promising a punchy sound that does justice to the original recordings (originally mixed at D&D Studios). The release comes packaged with a printed inner sleeve containing lyrics. NLTM-V0041 is a fantastic way to experience this slice of thrash metal history in a high-quality, limited-edition format.
